Our Story
Haylee and Matthew’s story began in May 2022 with a simple swipe right that would change both of their lives. Though they grew up only about 30 minutes apart—Haylee in Johnstown and Matthew in Bedford—their paths had never crossed until fate brought them together.
After their first meeting, Matthew invited Haylee on their first date at Rizzo’s, where their connection quickly blossomed. Just a few months later, on July 19, 2022, Matthew asked Haylee to be his girlfriend, marking the beginning of a beautiful journey together.
Over the years, they shared countless adventures and created memories that would last a lifetime. While Haylee was completing her studies at IUP and Matthew was hard at work building his career, they took another exciting step together. On February 1, 2023, they welcomed their beloved fur baby, Marbles, into their family after adopting her from the Humane Society.
As their love continued to grow, so did their dreams for the future. After nearly three wonderful years together, Matthew made those dreams official. On June 12, 2025, he got down on one knee and asked Haylee to spend forever with him. Surrounded by the love, laughter, and memories they had built together, Haylee said yes, beginning the next chapter of their story.

Your love, support, and presence on our special day are truly the greatest gifts we could receive. We have been fortunate to build a home and a life together already, and because of that, we have chosen not to create a traditional registry.
